Leeds Bridge death fall family in call for answers.

The Family of a Zimbabwean Teacher are calling for answers in to his death to be speeded up.

Zimbabwean teacher Mr Washington Jitita fell to his death from the A64 Woodhouse lane bridge on the evening of Saturday the 29th of December in Leeds City centre.

The family speaking to Zimbabwean news site Zimeye have told of anguish over obtaining answers to his death.
They are also criticising coroners delays which are preventing the return of his body to Zimbabwe.

Friends and relatives of the teacher have spoken about how information circulating contradicts the facts surrounding his death, with some even speculating he may have been thrown from the bridge to his death.

Mr Jita father of six children is said to have had no reason to take his own life and relatives are calling for police to release any cctv that may help them piece together his last minutes.

One Friend stated the facts we can see simply do not add up to the information circulating and the authorities should release information from the enquiry and investigate any motives that may surround the tragerdy.

Information circulated that he had been run over, yet pictures on news sites clearly suggest he had fallen from a bridge and landed on a Private hire taxi below.
This may be the case but authorities should move quickly to dispel any rumours.
We are not criticizing the police, just asking they keep an open mind and bring forward some answers.
